Organic Philipines Mascobado Cane Sugar
It is an unrefined sugar that preserves all the nutritional substances of the plant that practically disappear in the refinement.
To make Mascobado, sugar cane is cut and pressed in a mill. From there a dense syrup is obtained which is then cooked. When the consistency is adequate, it is allowed to cool while stirring to achieve an homogeneous crystallization.
