Both the whole cane sugar and cocoa come from cooperatives that farm sustainably, without using chemical fertilisers or pesticides, respecting local biodiversity and the health of those who work the land. These cooperatives, mostly made up of women, receive a fair price for their production, as well as technical and social support to improve their living conditions.

Defatted cocoa powder provides an interesting combination of essential nutrients. It is rich in natural antioxidants, such as polyphenols and flavonoids, which help protect cells against oxidative stress. It also contains minerals such as magnesium and iron, which contribute to the proper functioning of the nervous system and help maintain stable energy levels throughout the day.
