Ingredients for 6 people:
- 130 g maize flour (1 ½ cups)
- 4 medium eggs
- 140 g of Mascobado cane sugar AlterNativa3 (3/4 cup)
- 120 ml oil (1 cup)
- 50 g of pure cocoa with orange and cinnamon AlterNativa3 (2 heaped tablespoons)
- 12 g yeast (1 heaped tablespoon)
Step-by-step preparation
Do you have all the ingredients? Then follow the steps below to prepare your cake.
- Pour the eggs and sugar into a bowl. Whisk for a few minutes.
- Then add the oil.
- Add the yeast and cornflour.
- Then add the pure cocoa with orange and cinnamon.
- Stir until the ingredients are well mixed.
- Whisk until a homogeneous texture is achieved.
- Prepare the baking bowl: put baking paper on the base and grease it with oil.
- Pour the batter into the mould.
- Place the baking tin in a preheated oven at 180ºC.
- Bake for approximately 40 minutes at 180ºC.
- Remove from the oven and leave to cool.
