All capsule components are compostable, comply with EN-13432 and are certified by OKCOMPOST. Under industrial composting conditions, they degrade completely.
Ethiopia is the cradle of coffee. Sidamo, a large area in the fertile lands of the Rift Valley, is one of the three trademark coffee growing regions in Ethiopia (along with Harrar and Yirgacheffe). The Sidama region, situated in the south of the country, is located at a distance of about altitude between 1550 and 2200 m.a.s.l. are abundant rainfall, optimal temperatures and a fertile soil.
Cultivated by Sidama Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (SCFCU). This cooperative, founded in 2001, is made up of 47 first-grade producer cooperatives, all located in the Sidama Zone in southern Ethiopia.
The cooperative has more than 85,000 farmers, who have very small holdings, averaging ½ to 1 hectare per person, and maintain traditional cultivation methodsenvironmentally friendly and people-friendly.
