The KSU Arinagata Agricultural Cooperative KSU Arinagata was founded in 2007 and brings together more than 1,600 families from seven villages in the Aceh province of Sumatra. Through a collaborative approach, the cooperative seeks to improve the livelihoods of its members by producing and marketing high quality, fair trade certified coffee.
KSU Arinagata is distinguished by its commitment to sustainability and the well-being of local communities. The cooperative implements support programmes for natural disasters, such as heavy rainfall and landslides The Fairtrade Premium is used to create a social fund that covers the basic needs of the victims.
