Sidamo BIO-FT Ethiopian coffee capsules are made with Arabica coffee beans from the Sidamo region. Each capsule offers you a cup with an intense, fresh flavour, with notes of jasmine and bergamot, which will transport you directly to the Ethiopian lands. What's more, these capsules are compostable, making them an environmentally friendly option.
Grown at an altitude of over 1,500 metres in the fertile lands of the Rift Valley, this coffee enjoys an ideal climate that favours the growth of coffee beans of exceptional quality. Its delicate acidity and enveloping aroma are the result of a natural environment that nurtures the beans at every stage of their growth.
In addition, the natural roasting of these beans preserves their original nuances and aromas, allowing it to deliver a smoother, more balanced and richer tasting cup. This roasting process not only brings out the floral and fruity notes of the coffee, it is also a healthier and more sustainable process, resulting in a coffee with low levels of acrylamides.
The capsules in which this coffee comes in are compostable. They comply with TUV standards and are certified under the EN-13432 standard, guaranteeing that they decompose completely under industrial composting conditions.

Ethiopia's Sidamo coffee comes from the Sidama Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (SCFCU), founded in 2001. This cooperative brings together more than 85,000 smallholder farmers who grow coffee in southern Ethiopia. With its focus on sustainable agricultural practices and respect for the environment, SCFCU is an example of fair trade.
