COFFEE WITH LOVE is a project that was born to offer quality organic and fair trade products to cafés and restaurants. A comprehensive service proposal for HORECA, offering a complete range of products with social, environmental and proximity criteria.
AlterNativa3 is a a cooperative with more than 25 years of experience in the world of fair trade and organic coffeewith a strong involvement in the territory and in the defence of social and environmental justice. For many years, AlterNativa3 has detected the demand for a responsible and quality HORECA offer. In 2017, we carried out a diagnosis of the territory and the market to analyse, on the one hand, the unmet needs of the specific sector we want to address, and on the other hand, the general needs of the sector and the current offer in order to create a proposal that can really meet these needs.
The project: Café con amor
The "Café con amor" project was born as a response to this diagnosis with the illusion of offering a solution to the current demand, we have innovative elements with a great chance of success.
Why choose our Café con Amor?
We are processors: we have our own coffee roaster, which gives us the opportunity to innovate with new special products for the hotel and catering industry.
Specialised staff: we currently have a coffee specialist. We also have professionals from the world of Fair Trade and cooperatives.
Formations: We offer coffee training to our customers, so that the quality coffee we roast is also served with the highest quality. At the same time, there will be training courses on fair trade to disseminate cooperativism, gender equality, respect for the environment, respect for human rights...
We offer the full range of products that this sector needs, with environmental, social and proximity criteria.
Opportunity for clients to cut down on intermediaries, and even be able to have information and contact with the coffee producers. AlterNativa3 has direct contact with the coffee producers and we would make it easier for clients to have direct contact with them through visits to their establishments and training days.
By working with fair trade and training in this concept, cooperativism, respect for the environment, gender equality... are disseminated and responsible consumption is encouraged.
