In AlterNativa3 we join the dissemination of a very important step for the future of Fair Trade in Spain: the presentation of the new Local Fair Trade System, promoted by the State Coordinator of Fair Trade (CECJ).<\/p>\n

Local Fair Trade: towards a more conscious consumption<\/h2>\n

Fair Trade takes a step forward with the new local level model, a proposal that makes it more tangible in our daily lives and strengthens cooperation between organisations across the country.<\/p>\n

Bringing Fair Trade closer to citizens<\/h3>\n

This local system was created to make more tangible a movement that until now has been closely linked to the international sphere. This initiative seeks to demonstrate that social justice, respect for the environment and the environment, and responsible consumption can also be a reality close to home.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This model responds to the need to show that Fair Trade also has a direct impact on our communities. From local shops and cooperatives to awareness-raising projects,<\/strong> each action contributes to more people incorporating responsible consumption habits into their daily lives.<\/p>\n

Strengthening cooperation between local authorities<\/h3>\n

The new framework for collaboration cannot be understood without partnership. This new system encourages networking between associations, cooperatives and social enterprises that share common goals. Joining forces makes it possible to multiplying the reach of initiatives<\/strong> and ensure its continuity.<\/p>\n

Generating synergies for sustainable impact<\/h3>\n

Joint work between local entities makes the Fair Trade proposals win visibility and credibility.<\/strong> These synergies facilitate the creation of shared projects, joint campaigns and new opportunities to bring Fair Trade values closer to more people.<\/p>\n

The local approach to Fairtrade is a step forward in integrating responsible consumption with social justice and care for the planet. It is a model that drives a real transformation in our habits and in the way we understand sustainability.<\/p>\n

Every time a family, school or organisation chooses Fairtrade products, it is making a commitment to more equitable relationships and practices that protect the environment. At the local level, these choices have an immediate impact and contribute to creating more aware and engaged communities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The role of AlterNativa3 in local Fairtrade<\/h2>\n

For AlterNativa3, being an active part of this model means reinforcing a commitment that we have been promoting for more than 30 years. Our participation in the State Fair Trade Coordinating Committee allows us to join forces with other organisations and give continuity to a collective project that seeks to transform the way we consume and produce.<\/p>\n

Commitment to people and planet<\/h3>\n

We believe that this new model is an opportunity for more and more people to discover, support and live Fair Trade in their immediate environment. We think that the economic justice,<\/strong> the social equity<\/strong> and the respect for the environment<\/strong> must be present in every decision, from production to consumption. Food, purchasing habits and awareness-raising are all part of the same transformation in which we want to remain a benchmark.
>Participating in this network means ensuring that each product has a positive impact on those who make it and those who enjoy it, reinforcing trust and transparency.<\/p>\n

The workshop and the development of the Local Fair Trade model are funded by the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, and supported by the European Union through the Next Generation funds.<\/h2>\n
