{"id":12038,"date":"2020-04-28T14:35:35","date_gmt":"2020-04-28T13:35:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alternativa3.com\/?p=12038\/"},"modified":"2026-01-12T17:10:46","modified_gmt":"2026-01-12T16:10:46","slug":"coffee-sponge-cake-recipe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alternativa3.com\/en\/receta-bizcocho-cafe\/","title":{"rendered":"Coffee cake recipe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Would you like to prepare a delicious coffee sponge cake, perfect for breakfast, a snack or even for dessert? <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/amandamontiel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Amanda Montiel <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He confesses his recipe to us!<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Ingredients<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the cake:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3 eggs<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">80 g mascobado cane sugar<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 Greek yoghurt<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">100 g mild olive oil<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">150 ml of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/alternativa3.com\/en\/organic-ground-coffee-colombia-ft-250g\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">coffee Colombia<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">250 g spelt flour<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 tablespoon baking powder<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the topping (optional)<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 Greek yoghurts<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 tablespoon of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/alternativa3.com\/en\/freeze-dried-instant-coffee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">soluble coffee<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 tablespoon of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/alternativa3.com\/en\/organic-mascobado-cane-sugar-25kg-philippines-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mascobado cane sugar<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Step by step<\/b><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Preheat the oven to 180\u00baC.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beat the eggs with the sugar.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add the yoghurt, coffee and oil.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gently stir in the yeast and flour.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grease a baking tin with a little olive oil and pour in the cake batter.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bake at 180\u00baC for approximately 30 minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the cover (optional):<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grind the soluble coffee with the mascobado cane sugar in a grinder or any processor.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mix the mascobado cane sugar and ground instant coffee in a bowl with the Greek yoghurt.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add on top of the sponge cake.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leave to stand in the fridge for an hour.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And... done!
