  • 250 g flour (for gluten-free version: 180 g rice flour + 70 g maize starch)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 150 g Alternativa3 Golden Light cane sugar
  • 85 g melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons yoghurt
  • 1 dash vanilla extract
  • 150 g Alternativa3 organic chocolate drops

Preparation

Follow this simple process and in less than an hour you will have a juicy, aromatic cake with the irresistible contrast of banana and chocolate.Preheat the oven to 180 °C and prepare a rectangular or round cake tin with baking paper and a little butter.

  1. Mix the flour, baking soda and pinch of salt in a bowl.
  2. Mash the bananas with a fork to a smooth puree.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar. Add the melted butter, yoghurt, vanilla and mashed banana and mix well.
  4. Gradually stir in the dry mixture and stir gently. Add the chocolate drops and stir again.
  5. Pour the batter into the baking tin and bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Leave to cool before unmoulding and serving.
