We present an original dish to enjoy this summer and any time of the year.
Ingredients:
1 cup of ROYAL QUINOA
A little salt
Olive oil
1 onion
1 red pepper
1 green pepper
Dried plums
Fairtrade Sweet Curry
Quinoa Real was the staple food of the Incas and was revered as a sacred grain.
To start, we will make the quinoa using the basic recipe, cleaning the quinoa several times until the water runs clear and placing it in a pot on the heat with two cups of water. When the water boils, lower the heat, add salt to taste and cover. Leave for about 20 minutes or until there is no water left. You can tell that it is well cooked because the bean remains slightly open.
Dice the onion and add it to the paella pan with a little olive oil. Meanwhile, clean the peppers and cut them into strips. When the onion is golden brown, add the peppers and mix everything together. We can chop the plums before adding them to the sauce. Leave for about 10 minutes until the peppers are ready and add the quinoa, stirring well so that it does not get stuck to the bottom of the paella pan. Season with sweet curry to taste. It can be served either hot or cold.
