Organization of coffee producers founded in 1980 as the commercial arm of the indigenous movement in Cauca, Colombia (Consejo Regional Indígena del Cauca).
The organization achieved Fair Trade certification in 1995 and as a result has been able to defend small coffee-producing families from abuses by large, dominant multinational coffee growers.
