Don't worry, it's common, and that's why in this post we want to shed some light to help you to get to know it better.
The definition of the Specialty Coffee Association
If we rely on the more theoretical part, we turn to the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA)a partnership that aims to foster global coffee communities that support activities for making coffee a more sustainable activity, equitable y thriving for the entire value chain.
This association has established the parameters for determining whether a coffee can be considered a speciality coffee or not. These combine a number of quality standards in which the coffee must receive a score of at least 80 out of 100, and the need for the process from picking to the coffee being served in the cup also meets specific characteristics.
