Camari, which in Quechua means "pleasure", was established in 1981, specialising in the marketing of agricultural products and handicrafts. Camari functions as a direct marketing channel between organised grassroots producers and consumers.

Thus, its mission is to offer high quality products to those who consume them, in exchange for offering a better price to those who produce them, over and above that paid by local intermediaries.

Camari supports marketing and production with training courses, technical assistance and guidance, areas so necessary for production in agriculture and handicrafts.

Their products are sold in shops in the country, as well as through various Fair Trade organisations in other countries.
