Uca San Juan del Rio Coco, R.L. is a union of 8 cooperatives, which associates 370 producers, of which 80 are women and 290 are men.

Its objective is to promote the economic and social development of the associated cooperatives and their members through the production and marketing of economically profitable and ecologically responsible coffee.

It invests in improving internal capacities through courses and workshops to develop actions and strategies (especially marketing and financial) to ensure the success of the operation.

Work is currently underway on a cupping laboratory that will enable UCA SJRC to profile the quality of the coffee it collects and exports and on a local coffee branding project.
