Speciality coffee Sumatra Raja Gayo
This coffee, grown in the mountains of Raja Gayo in Sumatra, is a true gem for coffee lovers. With a complex flavour profile, it combines a luxurious entry with a velvety body and aromas of spices and noble woods. Its pronounced acidity and long aftertaste make this coffee an unforgettable sensory experience.
Bean, 100 % Arabica, is cultivated at an altitude of 1,200 metres and has been processed by washing. With an SCA score of 84, its natural medium-low roast, which guarantees low levels of acrylamide, preserves the original characteristics of the bean, achieving a perfect balance between intensity and softness.
Raja Gayo coffee is produced by the agricultural cooperative KSU Arinagatawhich brings together more than 1,600 families in the province of Aceh, Sumatra.
Since 2007, this cooperative has been working for the well-being of local communities, implementing programmes to support them in the face of natural disasters and promoting sustainable agricultural techniques. Thanks to fair trade, each cup of this coffee not only delights, but also contributes to the social and economic development of the producing families.
